About Simplified Samvidhan
Simplified Samvidhan explains the Constitution of India in plain English and Hindi, one Article at a time, so that every citizen, student and UPSC aspirant can read it with confidence.
Our mission: the Indian Constitution in simple language
The Constitution of India is the rulebook of our democracy, but its official text is long, formal and hard to follow on a first reading. SimplifiedSamvidhan.com exists to close that gap. For every Article we show the official text first, and then explain it in a box called "In Simple Words" using everyday Indian examples, the kind you would hear from a good teacher.
Our aim is simple: a Class 10 student, a first-time voter, a shopkeeper or a UPSC aspirant should be able to open any page and understand what that Article means for them.
What you will find on this website
- Article-by-Article explanations of the Constitution of India, organised by its 22 Parts (Part I, Part II, Part III and onward).
- Separate English and Hindi pages (हिन्दी) for every topic, so you can read in the language you think in.
- Landmark Supreme Court cases such as Kesavananda Bharati, Golaknath and Minerva Mills, explained in plain words.
- Legal awareness on everyday law, including the new criminal laws (BNSS, BNS, BSA) that replaced the CrPC, IPC and Evidence Act.
- UPSC and exam support: key points, practice MCQs and political thinkers' notes.

- Judgments from primary sources. Case summaries are based on the judgments of the Supreme Court of India and standard constitutional law references.
- Plain-language review. Each explanation is checked so that it stays faithful to the law while using simple words and real Indian examples.
- Dated updates. When the Constitution is amended or a major judgment changes the law, the affected pages are revised.
