Disclaimer: Educational Content, Not Legal Advice
SimplifiedSamvidhan.com explains the Constitution of India and related laws in simple words for learning. Please read this Disclaimer before relying on anything you read here.
Not legal advice
The content on this website is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not legal advice and must not be used as a substitute for advice from a qualified advocate.
Reading this website, emailing us or using any information here does not create an advocate-client relationship. Every legal situation depends on its own facts. For a personal legal problem, please consult an advocate enrolled with a State Bar Council, or approach your District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) for free legal aid (NALSA helpline: 15100).
No solicitation
In line with the rules of the Bar Council of India, this website does not advertise or solicit legal work in any manner. Nothing here is an invitation to engage any advocate or law firm.
Official text prevails
We reproduce the text of the Constitution of India and other laws with care, but the only authoritative text is the one published by the Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India (legislative.gov.in) and in the Gazette of India. If there is any difference between our text and the official text, the official text prevails.
Our "In Simple Words" explanations, analogies and examples are simplified on purpose. They help you understand the idea, but they do not cover every exception, proviso or judicial interpretation.
Hindi translations
Hindi explanations on this website are written by us to help readers. Where we show the Hindi text of the Constitution, readers should compare it with the authorised Hindi version published by the Government of India. In case of any doubt, the official English and authorised Hindi texts prevail.
Accuracy and updates
The Constitution is amended by Parliament and interpreted by the Supreme Court and High Courts, so the legal position can change. We try to keep pages current, but we do not guarantee that every page reflects the latest amendment, judgment or notification on the day you read it. Please check the date and verify important points from official sources. If you find an error, tell us at contact@simplifiedsamvidhan.com.
For UPSC and other exam aspirants
Our key points and practice MCQs are study aids. They are not official questions or answer keys of the UPSC, any State Public Service Commission or any other examining body, and we are not affiliated with any of them. Always follow the official syllabus and standard textbooks.
Case law and opinions
Summaries of court judgments are simplified and may not cover every issue decided in a case. Any views or comments in our articles are those of the author for educational discussion and do not represent the views of any court, government body or organisation.
